Mighty Minds Child Psychology is a small Educational and Developmental Psychology practice located in Highett, Melbourne dedicated to supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children and adolescents. We believe that every child is unique and capable of achieving their full potential with appropriate supports. At Mighty Minds Child Psychology, we offer a range of services including individual therapy, neurodevelopmental and psychoeducational assessments and parent consultations. We also collaborate closely with schools and other allied health professionals to ensure each client receives holistic and tailored care. Our goal is to nurture resilient, strong and thriving young minds.

Meet Ellie Fabbri

Meet Ellie Fabbri

Ellie is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who has a passion for working with children and their families. Ellie has worked with the neurodivergent community since 2014, and has worked in both private practice and schools.

Ellie takes a collaborative and client centred approach, making it a priority to engage with all those involved in her client's care – such as parents, teachers, and other allied health professionals.

Ellie has experience working with a range of concerns such as emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety (e.g. separation anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobia, generalised anxiety etc.), mood difficulties, and behavioural challenges in children and adolescents, as well as working with parents to best support and understand their child.

Ellie is experienced in conducting comprehensive psycho educational assessments for the purposes of understanding why a student is experiencing learning difficulties and to identify whether a child/adolescent’s learning difficulties are explained by a Specific Learning Disorder such as Dyslexia. She is also experienced in neuro developmental assessments for Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Delay/Disability, Giftedness and school readiness.

Ellie takes a highly collaborative approach with families and those involved with the child to fully understand her clients’ needs and goals. Ellie’s approach when working with her clients is strengths based and tailored to best support your child’s unique needs and goals.
